A mandatory national service bill, H.R. 5741 was introduced in the House of Representatives on July 15th by none other than Congressman Charlie “Still doing good things for Americans at age 80″ Rangel. The purpose of the bill is:
“To require all persons in the United States between the ages of 18 and 42 to perform national service, either as a member of the uniformed services or in civilian service in furtherance of the national defense and homeland security, to authorize the induction of persons in the uniformed services during wartime to meet end-strength requirements of the uniformed services, and for other purposes.”
According to the current text of the proposed bill, it appears that all females will have to register for selective service as well as males, and the President will decide what the forces will be used for, i.e., to be determined as needed. It sure sounds like subjugation to me. The text of the bill can be read at Govtrack.us
